RSS Feeds:
I offer two RSS feeds, one for the content of this site, and one for the content of my Flickr photostream. Please feel free to subscribe to one or both of them:
Effing the Ineffable (this site).
Fragments of Eternity (Flickr photostream).

About RSS Feeds:
What is this RSS thing, anyway?
RSS is a really simple way of getting updates to your favourite websites delivered directly to your computer, as and when they occur. If you subscribe to a site’s RSS feed, you no longer have to keep remembering to check the site to see if any updates are made - your RSS reader will check for updates and keep you informed, automatically.
Who else is using RSS?
Just about anyone can use RSS, from small sites such as this one, all the way up to major news providers such as the BBC and CNN. Just about any site that delivers regularly updated content can use RSS, and many do. Just look for an RSS option, often indicated by the RSS icon: ![]()
I get enough spam already - I don’t want any more!
Don’t we all! However, one of the really neat things about RSS is that you don’t have to give me, or any other RSS provider, any information at all! Instead of information being delivered to you, whether you want it or not, by subscribing to an RSS feed you are instead retrieving information from a remote location. And if you decide you don’t want it any more, you just tell your RSS reader to stop coming here. And there’s absolutely no way I can send you anything more, because I never even knew who you were!
This sounds pretty neat - how do I get started?
The first thing you’ll need is an RSS reader, often also called an aggregator. There are hundreds if not thousands of RSS readers around, so it’s difficult to recommend one - it’s more of a personal preference. The BBC have a good list of RSS readers, so I’d recommend trying one of those first.
Can I get more information on RSS?
Of course - there’s a huge amount of information out their on the web — far more than I can, or would want to, discuss here. Probably the best place to start is Wikipedia’s entry on RSS.
This sounds all too much like hard work - can’t I just subscribe by e-mail?
Absolutely - while an RSS reader can save you time if you monitor a lot of sites, some people might not need, or even want, to use one. As such, I provide an e-mail subscription service as well.
Subscribe by e-mail:
My e-mail subscription services are provided by FeedBurner - but don’t worry, you’ll be able to unsubscribe at any point, and they will not sell or give away your e-mail address to anyone. We all get far too much spam already, and I will not promote services on here that threaten to proliferate more.
